The 2020 Presidential General Election thread

What's to explain? Biden will most likely have a large victory in the popular vote and a small victory in the electoral college. That seems to me to be within the range of what the polls were saying. Trump has done somewhat better than expected - easily explained by the "shy Trump voter" effect.
There are probably only a handful of places like Florida where the polls were further out.

That's it. If Biden holds his leads in Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan, he's past 270. PA, NC, and GA won't matter.

Pretty sure he has Arizona locked up. I believe with 84% of polls reporting, Biden's lead is large enough that Trump simply can't catch up.

No. What I wanted to hope was that rational adults could look at the last four years--particularly 2020--and say, damn, this guy needs to go. But.

Do you realize these people are everywhere in america? Even in blue areas there are a ton of these people. This is society as it is. We are on a little speck of dust with a delicate atmosphere that we cannot escape from. Stupid, violence, and prejudice is a naturally occurring function of the species. A lot of them are catholic so Trump and/or the GOP may appeal to them.
