I dated a girl that supposedly hated Star Trek, any Star Trek. So when we'd watch a show or movie that had an actor that appeared in Star Trek I'd point it out. She get annoyed. She had a huge crush on Tom Hardy and Chris Hemsworth. She didn't believe me when I pointed out they both appeared in Star Trek. She got really pissed when I played both movies where they appeared in Star Trek.
Racism and/or antisemitism aside, I would watch the hell out of Black Actor Lord of the Rings. However, Snoop Dog needs to play one of the wizards.
Or you’ve lost your sense of humor or never had one to begin with or you’re too stupid to understand it.
.....I'd try it. BTW, saw on one of the cooking shows, some girl cracked the recipe for spray cheese. It's frosting with cheese packets instead of sugar.
The fragility of FF and others like him when black folk get to act in roles that were traditionally white. That and the fact they're perfectly OK with America-washing historical films as long as the actors are white. U-571 would like a word about accuracy, son.
Nah, that's not it. There's too many racist dog whistles in that poster to be a coincidence. One example: https://www.adl.org/resources/hate-symbol/we-wuz-kangs
Oh, I'm not ignoring HOW he conveyed the message - it's all racism. But in this case the racism has been triggered by (and is being expressed by "making fun of") the inclusion of black actors in roles that would have gone to white actors previously. See the Heimdall shit with Elba, or the stuff about House Velaryon in the new GoT spinoff. All borne out of racist shit, but specifically the "we're being replaced!!" fear.
