Tesla Model 3 has a base MSRP of $44,990 Nissan Leaf $28,375 Mini Cooper $30,750 Chevy Bolt $31,995 Hyundai Iconiq $34,250 Great meme though
In what world do you think $28k is expensive for a car? Especially one that you don't have to use gas on and has very low maintenance costs?
$28,000 is expensive for anything, and I refuse to go into debt for anything, let alone another disposable, mass-produced econobox I'm expected to replace every five goddamn years.
False That's fine, but you're definitely not maximizing your lifestyle (within reason of course) and you're punishing yourself in a way, but again if that's what you want to do then that's fine Who expects you to replace a vehicle in 5 years, wtf are you even talking about
If you're paying $28,000 for a car, it shouldn't need to be replaced in five years. If it will need to be replaced in five years, you shouldn't be paying $28,000 for it. I'm about to pay $26,000 for a new Corolla that, based on the track record of the one I currently own, I fully expect to not even need any service for the next five or six years, let alone need to be replaced.
First off, I do not blame your piss poor ass for not taking a new car loan at the financing you are going to get. 12 percent plus is a rip off. I know this because they only limit financing to "econoboxes" for people with shit credit. If you had good credit you could get what you wanted new. Second. unless you are going for some unique high end imported car, they are all mass produced replaceable vehicles. I would not say they are disposable for most people, but all of them are mass produced and easily replaced if you wreck. Like you are going to touch a car that was not made on an assembly line. Your fucking broke dick jeep was mass produced on an assembly line. Third, econobox? You arew bitching about people buying a new car by calling it an econobox when all you can afford is a brokedick used jeep? The only people who use the word econobox as an insult are 12 year old boys who have daddy buy them their cars, or dickless wonders who think their dick size is related to how much money they spend on gas. Fourth, cars will last much longer than five years. It is mileage, not years. Yes, the car dealer wants to sell you a new car every couple of years, but just because you are done with your car loan does not mean you need a new one. Face it loser you cannot buy a prius because you cannot fucking afford it, and not because you ever had a choice.
Though to be fair, my bills are emailed to me. Only thing mailman wastes time with me on is junk advertisers and the occasional birthday card.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a push to have folk who can work from home do so to prevent them accruing huge fuel bills. Now COVID has shown us we can do it, and all.
