I must have missed caterpillars needing some kind of elective surgery "affirming care" to become a butterfly. Maybe we had different biology textbooks.

Also, being a butterfly is an objectiely true state that is not dependent on anyone's feeeeeeeelings.

I do find it sad that Schrodinger only gave us the "cat is alive/cat is dead" option and not "cat gains superpowers and fights crime".
