Your article doesn't say what your headline says, neither in words nor numbers. If anything, your article says "the economy is pretty much the same under Trump as under Obama".
You're right, it does. I think the point is pretty clear though that this sudden upsurge in economic prosperity which has been attributed to Trump has been largely imaginary. People expected it, they had hope and, well, faith it would happen and they were convinced it was happening. That's what effective con men do, they convince you not only to buy something but to keep buying it even though it turned out to be empty promises.
Actually, the article says... and I’ve emboldened it, “BUT THE CURRENT PRESIDENT HAS USED A LOT IF MONEY FROM THE TREASURY AS STIMULUS.” Well, sure Obama did that too, but that was in a period of two straight quarters of negative growth he inherited from his predecessor. Trump inherited a great economy, instituted massive tax cuts and used treasury funds and still has only moved the needle 1/10th of a percentage point. Objectively speaking, Obama’s was better.
Don't mind debt credit for like I saw in the john adams miniseries. Why we always had some. Andrew Jackson tried paying debt off completely caused a recession. Trump isn't doing debt for credit at all
Yes. I know this was a witticism but frankly the whole MAGA movement owes a lot to evangelism in terms of methodology.
