Ok, it's confirmed. I have Trump Derangement Syndrome. TDS exhibits as a rational fear of everything. Other than xanax do you have any suggestions?
Jesus Christ you are stupid. I already gave the numbers in this thread. 45% of registered voters didn't vote and around a third of eligible voters aren't even registered. That is well over half of eligible voters didn't vote. Please stop taking the stupid pills. You are dumb enough already.
And you’ve had time within the past 72 hours to interview everyone who marched on Saturday and correlate “Yes, I’m here” with “No, I didn’t vote.” Let’s see your charts. You’re working from the premise that everyone’s behavior is as random as yours and Trump’s. You proceed from a false assumption.
People who attend marches and demonstrations are not a representative sample of eligible voters. They have a much higher than average level of political engagement, making it unlikely for many of them to skip out on voting.
@garamet Why are you so stupid? I mean it. There is something very wrong with you. As I twice said to Nova already on average about half didn't bother to vote. Do you know what an average is or has that part of your brain already rotted away due to advanced senility?
It is not representative but we are talking abput a huge number of people who don't normally attend marches and are only there because they were upset about one guy winning. We alreafy know a significant percentage of the whiners arrested post election were not registered voters. That is the proven track record. Just check the Portland riots thread we had after the election.
Has your medication changed recently or have you always had this difficulty in following simple sentences in plain English?
That I refuse to follow you down this particular garden path to self-delusion should be indicative of an eminently sane mind. Now, if all you’ve got is insults, I’d recommend you at least learn how to spell "percentage."
Once again we see the extremely dishonest tactic of trying to equate the small number of rioters (anarchists and other radicals who mostly abstain from voting as a protest against "the system") with the millions of people who have peacefully demonstrated their opposition to Trump.
When the G8 was held in these parts in 2003, I took part in a huge anti-globalist demonstration that was basically as illustrated above. At one point a couple of numnutz broke away to start smashing windows. Everybody in the crowd was shouting at them to FUCK OFF!!! Remember CREEP (Nixon's "Committee to Re-elect the President"). Just such people were planted to make doorknobs like Spiro Agnew look good. It's one of the oldest tactics in politics. The fact that a few losers on Wordforge fall for it merely shows them up for what they are.
You know what ..., if that started happening, then people might not be so quick to be paid rioters for the sole purpose of legitimizing protests.
right, because wrong doing by random criminals and terrorists is EXACTLY like wrong doing by someone operating under color of government authority.
so nothing then? You have a baseless assumption in your argument - the idea that because the genpop includes a majority of people who do not vote, then therefore any and every subset of that population has an identical sample of those who did not vote. There's nothing supporting that conclusion but your lightly founded assumption. Yes, there have been anarchist heavy protests which were packed with non-voters, but it does not logically follow that all protest groups are similarly populated.
oh, I'm aware that the great majority of voters are wildly ignorant and almost none of them consult actual position papers. I simply disputed the notion, widely held, that Clinton did not have anything to offer but "Stronger Together" and that she didn't even bother herself with all the "economic unrest" issues. If your argument is that she led a ham-fisted campaign that prioritized kum-by-yi over "I feel your pain" then yeah, the messaging was all wrong for the moment (it basically was trying to present her as a re-election of Obama probably) But that's perception, doesn't mean she had nothing.
Dammit. Did it again. DElegitimizing. People might not be so quick to be paid rioters for the sole purpose of delegitimizing protests.
So it is your claim they all voted? Hprse shit, but maybe ypu can prove it. We kno from general pop data and previpus arrest data pf protesters that abput half didn't vpte but even if thos group is half that rate (it likely is not) that still leaves 25%. Prove your pop is significantly different or acvept that general pop data is likely in the ball park.
Anyone who thinks a riot delegitimized a protest but taking healthcare away from millions, unaccountably murdering its citizens, and so on doesn't delegitimize a government is an imbecile or a liar.
The police regularly kill people in this country and are not held accountable. The legal system couldn't even convict Michael Slager of murder, and he was caught on video shooting a fleeing man in the back. Of course, there'll be more chances since it was a mistrial and he's still facing federal charges.
