Might have been already posted: What do you get when you cross a Clinton and Trump?

    Epstein.

Those tapes were faked; then they were "disappeared." So it couldn't be proved they were doctored. Clever, right?

Something was missing in the motive category for suicide by a narcissistic abusive guy who probably had a god complex. People like that do not have a conscience that we do. If they did they would be horrified at what they did. When that sort of person is brought to justice in courts they like to revictimize and degrade their accusers at trial. They like to remain in control and smear them. They get off on control. Killing himself because of guilt puts his victims in control. A person who is so depraved as to have his own Island where he traffics human beings for the rich and powerful isn't going to accept the dehumanized low level trash that he was victimizing being better than him. The last time he was in jail he continued to torture people from within prison. This is a guy who would get off on putting his victims through more pain and suffering.

But something I did not realize or think of. His victims and the people who were after him were about to get his fortune. When he went to trial the courts would have seized his assets as part of the process. This would take some time, and he was in that pre-stage where they were preparing the motions that would have prevented him from protecting his estate legally. That means his victims and also people who he might have seen as betraying him would get some sort of payday, and control him to give up. Instead he made a will and he took control of giving his money away. His last act was that will which was his control. In his mind he gave that money to the people he wanted, and now it is on them if they are so weak that others took money from them. This is the psychology of the control freak.

On top of this, he had the time to tell his lawyers to make it as hard as possible for others to get the money, and was able to set them up with as much defense of his estate as possible. There is probably some statements that undermine any accusations of rape and abuse in there. He can say the sex was consensual knowing who was coming after his money. This would undermine their claims of rape and put them in the position of having to take the money from other individuals who were not tainted with guilt like him. That may undermine their case because a jury or judge is not going to see a sick rapist on the stand vs his victims, but rather upstanding people or charities who were the receivers of his trusts. Like I said it also allows him to chose from the people he feels were loyal to him over the people he may feel betrayed him.

Hanging yourself while you can stand or take the pressure off requires dedication. You have to have a motivation to get through the pain and discomfort of those moments when your body wants to breath. Your body does not care that you want to die. It will struggle. You have to have that will to die. Spite, anger, and that last bit of control for a sadistic control freak like this would be needed to get through the process the way he seems to have hung himself. I felt it was more likely he had an assist than was merely depressed and feeling guilty or trapped. There had to be a decent motive for a guy like that, and he would have had to do this within a certain time frame or else the courts would have a better hold on his money. There was no reason for rushing the death before. He could have smeared their names and called them liars on the stand. He could have made the trial that much more miserable for them. If he did it would have opened the door for the courts to seize his assets for his victims during the criminal trial.

Circumstantial, though. The guy has a rep, but I'm regularly seen in the company of 18-21-year old girls (as a university lecturer) but the last time I fucked an 18-year old girl was back in 1997. Sadly, that was also the last time I fucked anyone.

This is part of a long Twitter thread, and the implication is that the folks running Google were very close friends with Epstein.

So ABC has the whole story three years ago and refuses to go public with it:

Amy Robach admits that what she said in the video is what she said. No editing for you whiners out there.

She and ABC however put out this statement:

Of course both are lying in their response to the leak. She obviously wants to protect her job. ABC wants the story to go away.

    Now for the fun part.....

ABC had no problem going after Kavanaugh with nothing but it went the extra mile to protect Epstein. I don't think Robach was lying in the video. She didn't know it would be leaked. She had the goods on that scumbag and ABC didn't let her publish it and she didn't have the spine to quit and go public on her own. ABC was more interested in getting an interview with the British Royal Family than in putting that dirtbag in the public spotlight.

She also believes that Epstein was 100% murdered.

And ABC who doesn't want to publish the whistleblower name against Trump did it's own investigation into the whistleblower over Robach's leaked tape and found out who it was. That person had moved on to the CBS morning show. So ABC called CBS up and told them who the whistleblower was and CBS fired that person! CBS who also refuses to talk about the leak that ABC knew three years ago about Epstein.

I wonder how many underage girls were raped by Epstein and his buddies in the 3 years after that story got buried

    I say again...

CBS fires staffer that leaked the ABC footage.

    Let that sink in.

They're not only untrustworthy with regards to the news, they'll cover for each other when their trustworthiness is rightfully called into question.

The mainstream media's reputation is in rubble.

If I ran CBS I wouldn't hesitate to rip ABC all over the news for covering up Epstein. ABC is the competition. I want the ratings and the money that follows.

That isn't whistleblowing. There's no corroboration. There's no paper trail. It's just one reporter shooting her mouth off.

And so what if she believes Epstein was murdered? :dayton: Do your job and dig up some evidence or STFU.

The CBS staffer got shitcanned because they don’t own the rights to the ABC material. CBS probably took the position that if the employee was willing to do that once, what’s to stop them from doing it again (to them)?

That said, it’s always infuriated me that news organizations frequently demand to know when people are fired from other industries, but when it’s one of their own they decline to say anything, citing “internal personnel matter”. :dayton:

That makes a bit more sense. Considering how rapey ass Les Moonves got ignored for literally decades, they'd have no moral standing to chastise ABC in this matter at all.

Okay, she said it. At that point it's a rumor. If word gets out in the media, "so-and-so said such-and-such," that's a leak.

A whistleblower would have documentation showing exactly how the story was killed and who was involved.
