    HBO took a popular video game series (which I recognized only for its viral sex scene), added Pedro Pascal and made it into a TV series.

    The opening sequence, which seems like a prologue to the main story, was thrilling. But I am currently grinding my way through the main story, that's about a post-apocalyptic world plagued by zombies (the fast, 28 Days Later variety, and this time the culprit is the fungi in your belly button) and run by military dictatorships and slavers. The characters are unattractive and the plot is slow so far.
