RE Tuttle's intelligence or lack thereof: One of the new Representatives voted in from TN is named Mark Green. He's a doctor, so self-evidently pretty smart - right? He said the other night in a town hall that when he got to Washington he would "stand on the desk" at the CDC until they told the truth about vaccinations and autism. So he's an idiot. Apparently, when it comes to politics, it's perfectly possible to be both at the same time.
To be honest, with all due respect to the guy, for someone who apparently has a law degree and experience of legal practise, (am I wrong here?), he does seem to struggle with making a strong (or even passable) case in a debate. There are many people I've crossed swords with who have left me for dust, many with whom I have felt on a par and many I almost felt cruel towards. If it weren't for his self professed lack of moral fibre @Tuttle would come into the latter category. As it is he just seems to constantly be flailing on even the simplest of things where others who make no special claims seem more than capable of holding their own whilst managing not to become objects of derision in the process. Yes, @oldfella1962, I'm absolutely including you there - there's no way whatsoever you should be looking up to him.
