OK, so I watched wish today. It is OK, but sort of unmemorable in general. I was stuck on the problem of the villain looking a whole lot like Dusty Smith, but I was thinking about the whole plot, and what they did at the very end and the main bad guy is based on Walt and the disney company censorship and how it destroyed the dreams of many because they chose which ones to make happen because some were considered dangerous by the family safety police. OK, hear me out, and there are some spoilers ahead because I cannot discuss this without discussing the end. So basically there is this guy who creates this wonderful kingdom where everyone is blissfully happy because he takes their wishes and makes them forget about them so they do not have to worry about them. He only makes some come true if they won't endanger the kingdom. Eventually his kingdom is threatened because someone else started making wishes happen. So he milks the wishes he got through dark evil magic so he can get power over all wishes because he thinks he knows best how to keep this pure kingdom of blissful ignorance happyu without ever giving representation to dangerous wishes people have of being themselves. Through this he takes everyone's identities away and makes them less than themselves because their true selves might endanger the kingdom. This is the disney corp being very slow to have wishes for black and brown representation, representation for girls who were more than a damsel in distress, and the GLBT community. There is a scene in the movie where Mr. Disney uses the wishes of Peter Pan and some other obvious disney movies to power his dark magic as he tries to destroy the person who is trying to make it so other people can make their own wishes or persue their own dreams. He is locking all these wishes away like Disney does with all their IPs and how they have tried to hold back Ghibli and anime from getting into the american mainstream. In the end it seems like Disney is trying to retcon their image because the days of Disney rule is dead, and the company seems to be including everyone now because they have been massively defeated in the censorship market, and look the whole time they were really creating the new magical ruler of the kingdom, the black disney princess fairy godmother. We will just brush all of that other shit under the rug where they spent 100 years destroying the dreams of others so that the vision of an old white cishet dude could keep anyone but the master race from making money.

That would help if I watched venture brothers. Yet another show that fanbros killed for me. There are just certain shows I have learned to avoid because discussion attracts toxic CHUDs. Adult Swim and Cartoon Network are at a nexus point on the toxic CHUD production spectrum which has caused me to block them from my consciousness.
If I let shitty fandoms get to me, then there would go Star Wars, Star Trek, progressive music, classical music, 80's metal, and large swaths of anime.
Are you at a lot of cons? I learned with DBZ to not throw up that flag at a convention. OMG it was a way to attract CHUD larvae. This was before they were actually CHUDs. Over the years I have developed a CHUD filter. Venture Brothers had a number of fans who liked toxic masculinity in the geek community. Combine that with ATHF and then you could distill it by seeing who actually got Big O, and you could eliminate the fanbros at anime cons. I am thankful that rick and Morty has created an easily recognizable INCEL CHUD costume we can all see coming. The rick costume is easy to make, comfortable for bros, and just screams this guy has toxic masculinity problems.
