The Personal Information Rule

So where's the new members who need to see this?

 

Tamar & Co have spent so much time on this, merging a few forums and endless rep polls (all of which give the same result) that nobody, it seems, has found the time for the one thing that should be at the top of the list, namely marketing the place and getting it known to people outside of TrekBBS & Trroll Kingdom.

What has Tamar managed so far under her great new leadership? New rep looks like it is being kept after no less than four polls. The personal information rule is still the same. There is no new board logo and absolutely zero effort has been made to market the place and recruit, despite all the guff from her and Scorp a couple of weeks back.

But, hey, we merged the Grey Room into the Red Room, right?

 

Until Order2Chaos has time to fix the spambot issue, this shit gets settled and the logo gets settled there is little point starting a membership drive.

We need the new logo before the advertising stuff can be designed. Scorp has been handling that, so I'm not sure what the delay is.

 

Anyway, I've updated the rule.

Anyone using other people's pictures please remove them now as you will be running afoul of the new rule.

I see it as a step-by-step process. It makes sense to get the changes out of the way now before trying to recruit anyone, otherwise they'd be seeing the constant drama right off the bat. And the thread about the logo design has kinda fallen off the radar.

 

^ They will be seeing drama come what may as long as people still whinge about rep or look to troll people in the hope that they have a meltdown (and yes, I include myself as a guilty party in tje latter of those two).

Since it is within forum rules to troll in the Red Room one can deduce from this that a picture posted in the Green Room can be modified in the same fashion as my recent avatar and posted in the Red Room. Correct? If not, redraft this sentence.
