As I briefly mentioned on Media Central, I helped to publish a book for a friend of mine that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a good entertaining read. It's called The Psychic Spy by Irene Allen-Block, and it is the story of a young British woman, Eileen Evans, who in the late 1970's is unwittingly recruited by British Intelligence as part of their top secret Psychic Espionage program. Finding forbidden love with a fellow agent, Eileen finds herself quickly descending deeper into a dangerous world. Not only must she cope with the very real possibility of loosing her life, she must also struggle with loosing her soul. Smart, sexy, and filled with intrigue -- The Psychic Spy takes and unique and fascinating look at a little-known aspect of the world of espionage, and how governments used (and quite possibly continue to use) psychics as part of their intelligence programs to spy, manipulate, and in some case, to kill! I know I'm biased since I helped to work on this, but this book is really a fun read. Now the question you'll have to ask yourself is....just how much of it is true?
You should watch The Conjuring, BD. All about your kind of stuff and allegedly based on a true story. Decent film.
So I've heard. I've actually interviewed Andrea Perron, who was one of the children of the family that lived there at the time of the haunting. Here's a link to that episode of my show: http://unknownoriginsradio.podomatic.com/entry/2013-09-06T18_23_16-07_00
