How old is the owner of the fish?

It belonged to a pre-teen who had a friend (the son of the person who posted) pet sit and during said pet sitting, the fish expired. The mother was asking how best to break the news easy to the owner via iPhone in a way that doesn't come across as morbid or crass or her son losing a friend.

But none of that changes the fact that my response was comedic gold.

It’s pretty funny. Probably something I would have responded with without any excuse of alcohol involved.
