So...up to date, there are these:

Space Pirates, which you've all seen a decent amount of in the thread of it's own name.

Suits - Basically, it's based on the S&K Menswear that I worked at. The cast is exactly that of the original staff, plus a few extras. The part that makes it interesting is that this particular men's retail store sets in the middle of fantasy Middle Ages. So the cast doesn't just fit humans, they fit dwarfs, orcs, centaurs, minotaurs, elves, and any other imaginary creature you can think up. Alright, well dwarfs aren't imaginary, but I mean the imaginary kind.

Ninjas - You've seen about as much work as I've done on Ninjas. Rag-tag team of unlikely ninjas works through their suckage to become better ninjas. Everyone's favorite character seems to be Jaques, the french ninja. Mostly because of his gadgets. The baguette nunchuks. The grated cheese concealment powders. The cigarette filter that doubles as a blow dart gun. And the escargonades. (Adorable little snails that EXPLODE.)

A new idea, Afrocalypse and The VooDoo Bear - There really isn't much to discuss on this. Afrocalypse is a large black man with a large black afro, that wears aviators, has a seventies goatee and fashion style, and is a vigilante. The VooDoo Bear is his sidekick. The VooDoo Bear is shrouded in mystery. No one knows who he really is, or where he came from. All that is known is that he smokes, wears a voodoo top hat, and carries a sash of skulls from various species of creature that he's slaughtered. He is presumed to have some sort of magical power, and is a certified witch doctor.

And the newest, which was developed only hours ago...

Over The Hill (development title) - It's a show about a nursing home full of old people, who are the main cast.

Since this is what spawned this thread, I'll go into detail on this one...

    The Cast

Melvin Blauvelt - A short, fat, bald, coke-bottle glasses wearing grump. He's a devout pessimist, a cruel husband, and a terrible father. He's always bitching about something, whether it be his pills, his crippling arthritis, the nurse, his wife...it's always something. But he's the grumpy little bastard you love to hate. Catch phrase, "Damnit, woman!"

Martha Blauvelt - Melvin's hard-nosed, but loving wife. Martha's a nice old lady, but she doesn't take shit from Melvin. She loves him, but she'll smack him with his own catheter sack if she feels it's merited. She's short, plump, permed, and she also wears coke-bottle glasses.

Edgar O'Toole - Melvin's only friend in the nursing home. Edgar is taller, and resembles what you would imagine Stan Laurel to look like when he's pushing ninety. He's tall, thin, wispy-haired, big-chinned, and has tired eyes. He is also slightly past the beginning stages of Alzheimers. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether Edgar even realizes that he's friends with Melvin, and it starts with how he met Melvin. Edgar has a love of pudding. One day Melvin sat down next to Edgar, bitching about something or another, and threw a Snack Pack onto Edgar's tray. Melvin isn't really much on pudding. But that small act did manage to make a dent in Edgar's mind, but it seems to be merely an instinctive act for Edgar to come back and sit next to Melvin. Somewhere, Edgar remembers there's pudding in it for him. Edgar wears a bath robe and slippers.

Jasper "Moon Dog" Mansfield - Jasper is an old black dude from back in the days of blues. He's a thin guy, with the exception of the expected wrinkles and a little belly. He has the Muddy Waters hairstyle, only a bit longer, and stark white. He wears those BIG black sunglasses...(shown below)

...and sports a stark white mustache. He wears an old olive suit with a burgundy open collar dress shirt, no tie, collar warn over the lapels, and burgundy dress loafers. He also smokes and plays a Benedetto arch-top jazz guitar. Every once in a while you might also catch him humming around on a harmonica. Jasper has a great sense of humor, and can be seen intentionally playing the blues as the nurse walks by just to catch her attention, or to sarcastically express concern. Lyrics such as, "Dat ol' nurse lef' me. Lef' me wif no pills. Yeah, dat ol' nurse gone an' lef' me. Lef' me here ta dieeee..." from his ballad, "Tube In My Willy Blues."

Beatrice (Bea) Rosenthaugh - Martha's friend. She's a sweet old lady that wears a sun dress, a bow sash, a broach, a sun hat, and old lady dress shoes, (the ones that look like clogs.) She's a bit taller, and thin. I haven't really developed much personality for her yet, so far she's just a girl-talk partner to Martha, and a bit more consistent in her kindness.

Well, that's it so far. I thought it was a pretty good idea. No one's ever done a cartoon ABOUT old people before, let alone an ADULT cartoon about old people. If done correctly, I think it could be a pretty hilarious and original concept.

I'll get some artwork up for it as soon as I can.
