The USA Season 2020 Finale Predictions Thread

The writers have pulled out all the stops this season, building to a finale which promises to make up for the disappointing Game Of Thrones conclusion earlier this year. Natural disasters, a worldwide pandemic, economic collapses, widespread civil rights protests reminiscent of the 1960's, and a public resurgence of white supremacist voices to name a few.

Now, in the final weeks leading up to the US election has come the cliché twist of Donald Trump being infected by the very disease he has been so dismissive of.

Seems like a good time for people to make their predictions of what comes next. Does Trump recover and ride public sympathy to re-election? Does he die? What should we expect for season 2021?

How I'd write it:

Trump gets more sick, but insists he will recover and stays on the ballot. After a few days in the clear Biden tests positive and quickly deteriorates, passing away. The DNC scrambles to pick a new presidential candidate, and in a nail-biting vote it comes down to a compromise candidate everyone had counted out...Hillary Rodham Clinton.

In the first few hours of US election day it looks like it could go either way. Results start coming in and multiple states are going in different directions than expected.

Cut to later that evening. An aide approaches the ventilated Trump holding a sheet of paper. "Sir, it's a landslide....Hillary won".

Fake news will emanate from the white house.

I predict that it'll end on a cliffhanger, which will never be resolved due to it being canceled.

Yellowstone erupts.

We finally mine the damn wormhole.

A bold prediction. There doesn't seem to have been any foreshadowing for that, but it would certainly a good way to shift everyone on from the current story threads.

There’s been a little. 2 separate weeks of dozens of small quakes each day. If that’s not what passes for foreshadowing in 2020, I don’t know what is.

Jan. 1, 2021: The Party Begins

This is gonna be a "The signs for Daenerys being mad were sprinkled through all along" situation isn't it.

December 25, 2020: the stars become “right” and in the South Pacific a strange city rises from the depths . . .

My bet is Barron Trump jumps out of nowhere and stabs a White Walker.

I'll say the same thing I always said to him, the Australian government is generally a shitshow that coasts by on pure luck and there are many many things about this country I disagree with on a fundamental level. They don't usually get brought up on WF since I'm the only Aussie here and discussion of Aus issues don't get traction but if you want to honestly discuss any of them I'm very open to that.
