    I don't get this bullshit with the apology. He meant what he said. If he's sorry about anything, he's sorry that he got caught. I'd have more respect for the guy if he just said "I probably shouldn't have been so crass, but, in my opinion, by talking down to black men, Obama has metaphorically cut the nuts off of the voter base that got him where he is right now. I apologize to those who were offended by the crassness of my remarks, but not the sentiment behind them".

    That's pretty much what he said, imho.

    AFAIC, Jackson's demeanor during the statement was an obvious communication of something that was meant to be private. Fox News being who they are, of course thinks that it is news that all black people don't agree on all issues and that we are not a monolithic people.
