First time at 4chan /pol in about a month and their first thread there is about the Las Vegas shooting. Apparantly its a conspiracy. They are claiming it was an assassination attempt on Trump who was secretly there at the Las Vegas airport sitting on the tarmac, the security guard is actually the second gunman, there was a shooting platform set up outside with the room next door. They are currently trying to dig up more dirt.

Oh their on to something now. Now in Las Vegas there is an unfinished ferris wheel. All that was built were the two pillars. Their new theory is the secret gubmint gunman was in there. They have some video and say there are flashes when the shooting is happening. They are plotting trajectories. Its just as funny as reading the onion.

George Soros should secretly buy 4chan to gain access to the personal info of its members and then devote his considerable resources to making their lives even more of a miserable hell than they already are.
Without offering an opinion as to the reasonableness of what the 4channers are saying.... I find it interesting that the possibility of conspiracies and covert shenanigans is dismissed out of hand, despite the fact we live in a world that includes the FBI, CIA, NSA, KGB, etc. Every nation on earth operates some kind of intelligence outfit, which includes spying in various forms. Spies are out there. Covert operations go on every day. And yes, assassination ploys are attempted. Isn't that one of the reasons we went into Iraq? Dubya was avenging his father, who had been targeted by Saddam? Didn't the CIA try numerous times to kill Castro?
As described in the OP, this conspiracy "theory" sounds moronic. The nutcase sprayed ammo into the crowd at a country music concert, but the goal was actually to assassinate Trump who was secretly sitting in a plane on a tarmac? Sounds about as reasonable as the pizzaria pedophile ring thing.
Okay. Two people that I work with, who are intelligent and I have a lot of respect for, think it's a conspiracy theory...along with 9-11 and Sandy Hook. It's enough to make me question my own sanity.

No. I think it's all a bunch of BS. I think no rational person would believe such a thing...but I also know some people that I would otherwise consider rational that do.
Today they are on to the usual subjects of subjugating women and asking why they are all still virgins. Ill look in again in a few days, I still have a feeling they are going to try to organize another Charlotteville or atleast a Spencer seminar soon.
