An object lesson, here. Read and heed- it IS an election year. https://www.redstate.com/kiradavis/...DugasLWzYw2y_xNXX9LyWl9MnDbLsdsCmAN6U8h6Thqyo
So, lemme get this straight - some people who are obviously new to buying guns try to buy guns and are unfamiliar with the waiting periods/background checks and that automatically means they're liberals? According to one gun shop owner. And other neophyte gun buyers have bought into what they see on TV and are displaying poor gun safety? Gee, it's almost like a waiting period and background check isn't actually enough when selling lethal weaponry to folk! Almost as if some form of mandatory training might be useful to prevent deaths?
I doubt that any of them think that the purpose of guns is to protect themselves from the virus. Protecting themselves from people who want to take advantage of the epidemic to harm others, however, is an entirely different story. (And I say that despite not having ever owned a gun, or wanted to own a gun, or contemplating owning a gun, or even feeling the need to have one.) IOW, your point is what is commonly known as a "strawman".
If they don’t realize that buying a gun is not like buying a candy bar, I’m not sure what other word fits.
They don't think it's like buying a candy bar but since they never paid any real attention to the details in the gun control laws they supported they are baffled at all the stuff you have to do to get a gun.
But they are good enough to deal with a virus that is as big as a human. Here we see two viruses attempt to infected a cell: One virus killed by the homes immunity defense. Second one got away but was later caught. I think he's upset in this picture because he realizes that his buddy is dead and he's getting charged for home invasion, armed robbery, and felony murder. Plus he's also upset that he just realized he's a very stupid person. His dead partner who had been in and out of prison remembered that particular house had a box with $200,000 dollars in it. TWENTY YEARS AGO. Yes you read that right. They were doing a crime based on information 20 years old. It's not even the same family that lived in the house 20 years ago.
They must have been watching that BS scene from Bowling for Columbine where Michael Moore made it look like he just popped in a bank and walked out with a gun in 30 minutes.
Ah well, I'll just carry on not getting killed by post apocalyptic gangs of cannibals and mutants despite being completely unarmed.
