Not seen the film yet, but based on the trailer their early 90s film's had much better special effects than our universe and were a lot more socially progressive.

Hey, Disney announced a new Toy Story movie and Tim Allen tweeted this out. Sounds like they're getting the gang back together for one last rodeo.

    OMG NO

    WHY

    Just why

No one was that enraptured by the fourth film.

They could've stopped at three films and had the best trilogy of all time GOOOOOOOOOOOD

I've seen all the others in theaters, but I refuse to reward Pixar for laziness, and we damn sure know they can do better. :brood:

Eh, I stand by my complaint that the ending of 3 was already a disappointing cop-out. The series had all these good ideas about accepting one's own mortality and the fleeting nature of all relationships, and then this bullshit happy ending gets tacked on.

The version where the toys burn was already done, it's called "The Velveteen Rabbit".

    Oh yeah! Right!

Oh! I was thinking of "The Steadfast Tin Soldier"!
My head mooshed those two together into a Tuvix.

No, I'll tell you what doesn't make fucking sense: Who they originally wanted as the voice of Buzz.
