There's nobody on this bbs that's actually monied enough to pretend our current political situation matters - I make more than both my parents combined did - I think the death penalty is valid - and that individuals should be able to concealed carry if they so choose - and I still vote Democratic (usually) because the Republicans have sold out to the RRs and there's no (sane) third party.

Libertarianism is FUCKING STUPID WORDFORGE - its just like communism - it looks really good on paper, but sucks shit-all getting from here to where its ideals actually lie.

The only reason any of you consider it is because you're well enough off to do so.

To be fair, I tend towards Republican locally and Democratic Federally. That said, my local Republicans are starting to follow the North Carolina model with even more Religious Right! So yeah, I don't know who to bother with (to be honest I've voted "no vote" for ballots at least once across the board).

But between us, you know, just the two of us, its not like you're one of the RR or something (right?) You're totally down with individuals deciding what their own family should look like, whether they use birth control, or maybe even have consensual sex outside of marriage?
