I never liked Sarah Palin for various reasons and I liked her weird family even less. But it seems to me after 31 years one should just say the hell with it and stay married. I wouldn't think it was worth the trouble to get a divorce.

I'm reminded of a real life couple in the community I grew up in. They were both over 80 and were constantly bickering viciously. They had been married nearly 60 years. When someone told them they should just get a divorce both of them replied that they were literally "waiting for the children to die" (they had five).

They managed to both outlive three of their children.
