Ever pissed off when you can't find something on youtube, and come to the sad realization that it probably doesn't exist anymore? I remember sitting in the theater watching previews in the 80s. It's fuzzy, and I don't remember the movie it was attached to. But the joke was something before had to do with sunshine or beaches or something. I don't remember if that was a theme of the main movie, something going on in the public eye at the time, or just a made up part of the trailer. But then we get a jump cut to Eddie Murphy sitting on a donkey in the middle of a frozen wasteland. Eddie, breaking the fourth wall, says something ironic about the sunny scene before and then remarks how he's freezing his ass off "up here." Jump cut, to The Golden Child logo or title or whatever. I guess the whole think was less than 40secs long. I wish I could find it, a real out of the box thinking trailer.
You think that's hard? Go back to the early days of memes. Before they were called memes. Try to find Hampster Dance. OK, that is too easy. I defy you to find a copy of "Spock ate my balls."
