So, Last Friday's Kitchen Nightmares had the first restaurant where Gordon Ramsey leaves and gives up helping the owners turn their place around. As good as the episode was, showing a new level of mental illness and crazy in the owners, the fun didn't stop there. Oh no. You see they were certain that the internet was full of liars posting lies about their food and talked shit about it in the episode. Those people didn't like being called liars...and apparently millions of trolls out there smelled blood. Hordes of people have been posting to Yelp, Reddit, Facebook...and these people think "fighting back" is a good idea. They have been going full retard on their Facebook and Yelp, which just spawns more trolling. It's interesting reading...and don't forget the photo albums, too. Some comments are pretty nasty so be aware before reading... Dammit... I was about to post this. I dunno why.... she's full on crazy but I would definitely bang the living fuck out of her. But then again every girl I've dated has been a nutcase. I just seem to be drawn to them. Anywho, here's the episode. [YT="You never go full retard"]bnJFH8wgegI[/YT]
It seems like the owner was some corrupt petty official from some where in the middle east who managed to steal a small fortune before absconding to the US where he married some batshit insane woman (who is 20 years younger than him) who thinks she was a model because she was once an extra in some commercial. Samy is still a thief at heart which is why he steals the waiteress's tips while Amy seems like she's never cooked professionally and thinks that just because it was her hobby that means she can run a restaurant. I mean cooking the orders one at a time? No wonder it was taking them 1.5 hours to get a pizza to the table. They both basically have no business running a restaurant especially as they seem to spend more time cussing at the customers and the staff than either of them do actually working.
Here's the breakdown on Buzzfeed: http://www.buzzfeed.com/ryanhatesthis/this-is-the-most-epic-brand-meltdown-on-facebook-ever I like this one especially: Human kid, ha. So they have a few Batboys already?
I was reading the buzzfed and it turns out she didn't actually make any of those cakes which she claimed were her's and freshly made. She just bought them and repackaged them then lied to customers and said she made it. Now it's all making sense. The frozen pasta she reheated but told customers was freshly made, the cake she said she made but actually was store bought, while everything she actually cooked was crap. The pizza which was still doe, the burger which was raw, the fish which was cooked to cardboard. She just can't cook and that's why she was trying to pass off store bought stuff as her own. http://i.imgur.com/Uu73yB9.png It gets better! They're both convicted felons so obviously they had no restaurant experience but after getting out of jail they found out they had to get honest jobs but they lack both the skills and the demeanor to run a restaurant.
They've apparently figured out how stupid their Facebook threats were so now they're claiming they never actually made them and instead someone else must have hacked into their account. No, no one is actually believing their lie.
Shameless lies and practice committing felonies . . . sounds like a promising couple of future career politicians to me!
Watched that episode and I figured it was a total reality-tv inspired setup by Fox for entertainment. Then Ramsey walked away. "Huh, that can't be good for business." Interesting to see that they're really batshit!
"We were hacked!!!" The last refuge of the damned. Nothing worse than someone who says horrible things, then claims they didn't say them.
90 minutes? For pizza? Un-fucking believable. The husband is a certified control freak who tries to do ten jobs at once and fails at all of them. He never tells his wife anything, choosing instead to treat her with kid gloves. Even if she weren't a complete looney toon who will be institutionalized at some point in her life, how can you work or be married to someone that you can't even talk to? Ramsey was right to walk away and take his sanity with him.
What I would like to know is, does that restaurant actually make any money? How long have they been in business and how much does it make a year? I also pity the poor schmoes that have to work there. It is a testament to how badly America is doing (or at least that region) when they've gone through more than a hundred workers and can continue to keep hiring more willing to be abused. I am also curious about how they even get customers. There were obviously a few people sitting around at the restaurant and I'd be surprised if this restaurant has been in business more than a year. It seems in that area, so long as you have a storefront and a few nice tables and chairs, people will come in and give it a chance. And to be fair, the seating area did look pretty nice, though I credit the workers for that.
These people have no conscience. Amy admitted she orders her baked goods and lied to Gordon because he's British...a lame excuse. But all along she's had a website that includes a blog...talking about the stuff she's been baking and making. It's obviously complete fiction in light of her confession. http://amysbakingco.com/
Supposedly they opened in 2006 but have lost more than $1 million so it sounds like the elderly husband has been burning through his stash of cash which he no doubt got through some sort of illegal means (judging by how they've both been convicted of felony credit fraud; stealing social security numbers then opening up fake lines of credit using the stolen SSI numbers). It sounds like they've been bleeding cash the whole time mostly because they're lazy and stupid. The end is definitely near though if they were desperate enough to go on a reality tv show for help and they've resorted to even stealing the tips from the wait staff.
Oh, and though this is the Huff Post, the episode is available there if you haven't seen it yet. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/...htmares_n_3274345.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular
Order a pizza, and then after waiting for a little while order from Domino's and see who gets the pizza to you first. If Samy's gonna kick you, make sure he's extra angry when he does and hopefully Amy will go full retard psycho at the same time.
So this just came up on FB These people are the Dayton of restaurant owners. The episode of Kitchen Nightmares has Sammy clearly state that he take the tips away. And they're still whinging on about being "bullied." And they wonder why the business burns through an average of two employees a WEEK. Man, someone should really do a page on ED about this!
Damn I just watched that As it's a reality show kinda thingy you have to take it with a grain of salt, but even if only 10 per cent of what's shown is actually true, those are two textbook coockoo cases That Amy sure is a poster child for religious nuts, however. Totally convinced that God gave her a (rich) husband and the gift to cook. She's just like all religious nuts I have ever met IRL or online: totally and irrefutably convinced of their 'path'. If Amy had been born elsewhere, she'd probably strap a bomb under her coat and walk into a busy market. However, I do wonder why in $deity's name they still have any business. Scottsdale isn't that big, and news about a bad restaurant spreads really fast. I mean, tell a customer here to fuck off and the whole city will know about it in the morning. Makes one wonder... is this for real? Or is it a well made publicity stunt for a TV show? If so, it certainly worked - even European newspapers are writing about this even though hardly anyone on the mainland has ever heard about the show.
