Y'know, I can imagine an edgelord being edgy just for the thrill of transgression, especially if he's young and immature. But when that much of your self-conscious edginess revolves around owning slaves and raping women ... you're probably giving voice to some weird shit that's bubbling just under the surface.

Step 1: Massively increase US debt.
Step 2: Claim the debt amount is incorrect.
Step 3: Default on debts, because that's what you do.

So, I must cheer for one or cheer for the other? Get fucked. You do not get to define my options.

No, asshat. It is two seperate propositions that are perfectly compatible for anyone who isn't a lawyerballing "must have last word" bullshitter.

    1) Tariffs are opposed on principle, that said

    2) Fuck the big three and any other corporations who have long since exited the free market by way of the chicken tax and tax-funded bailouts.

Got it? Yes you do. But you will eat your own balls before admitting it.

Your definition of what counts as exiting the free market is as mutable as the rest of your views.
In other words, it's permissable until you decide it's not.
But I also doubt you know much about the Bush/Obama "bailouts", how they're structured, or what their current status is either. You just hear "bailout" and go into self-righteous mode.

By the way: What's the model year for that Jeep of yours?

Dumbasses: "I voted for Trump because he's gonna run America like a business."

Trump: *Just renames the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America instead of, you know, acting like a businessman and working out a deal with Bank of America for naming rights.*

They are "forced" both by market pressures and by their fiduciary duty to maximize shareholder return. A supporter of capitalism ought to know this.

US Auto makers were irresponsible by not making their products more expensive to subsidize less efficient local suppliers.

I'm watching videos of farmers actually crying because Trump's executive orders have paused their payments and their farms are going to go under.

They say "we didn't vote for this," and I hate for them to find out that they did indeed vote for this, whether they like it or not. Donald Trump is a known liar, he revels in lying, in duping people he sees as inferior. These farmers put undue faith in him and they shouldn't have, and now many of them may lose their farms. For those of us who live in farm towns, that is going to be one more hot coal on the heap.

Here's a Newsweek article on Trump's small farm fuckery: https://www.newsweek.com/trump-usda-funding-freeze-farmers-tiktok-project-2025-2029137

If Donald Trump and his cronies are determined to just absolutely fucking destroy everything and be the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, he's off to a fantastic start in his first month.

I'm laughing because I truly hope they get fucked over. Lose their farms. The whole thing.

Because they knew better, or should have.

People who'd never once consider voting for Bill Clinton because things of things like "character" and such happily voted for an actual criminal.

So I hope they get it good and hard because they did it to themselves.

For the hardcore MAGAs? Sure. Unfortunately, a bunch of farmers voted for Harris, and they're going to lose their farms, too. Like I said, I live in a farm town, and Donald Trump is absolutely going to devastate rural America. I can only hope people learn from this, they MUST learn from this and never be so goddamned shortsighted and self-serving again.

Farmers and blue collar workers used to be reliably left leaning because they understood that companies abused workers, and that governments used workers if they weren't kept in line with unions and good labor laws.

Now here we are back again right on the precipice of another Great Depression, and I have to hope this time the lesson sticks.

Well, after firing most of the staff, and hiring in cronies to take their place, and getting elected as Chairman of the Kennedy Center because of it, now references to LGBTQ+ art projects are being scrubbed from the organization's calendar.

The fucker and his fucksticks truly do hate us and want us to disappear.

I'm just going to have to act gayer.

    I won't say they KNEW

But they had EVERY opportunity TO know and if they voted their bigotry or whatever because it felt good and did so in ignorance of what Trump/Project2025 et al clearly intended to do, then it's the same thing.
