If Trump did that, it would mean he owned the uranium firm he was selling. What Hillary does is called "bribes, kickbacks, graft, and corruption." You see, public officials aren't allowed to personally profit through the exercise of their office. We put them in jail for that. See just about every politician ever sent to jail for how that's supposed to work, such as Jim Traficant (8 years), Albert Bustamante (3 years), Duke Cunningham (8 years), William Jefferson (11 years).

Note that in these other scandals the amounts are less than a million dollars. Hillary did a hundred times worse in just one of her countless deals and just skates away like laws don't apply to her, which they don't. India paid her millions to oppose legislation against outsourcing jobs to India. In what world can corporations outright pay millions of dollars to a politician to change their vote and people not go to jail for it?

So, you're telling me, that you think its impossible for Trump to make a profit off of a deal which he brokered, but didn't actually own anything? Have you read his book? That's pretty much his modus operandi! As a former boss of mine who worked with Trump put it, "He makes sure that he takes none of the risk, and gets the bulk of the profits."

It's illegal for public officials to do that. Hillary was a public official. Before any deal between a foreign and a US firm would be approved by the State Department, people had to kick Hillary several hundred thousand dollars to several million dollars, sometimes through various shell corporations the Clintons set up (but forgot to report). For example, before Hillary would grant approval to a Swedish oil services firm to sell particular equipment to Iran despite US sanctions, Bill set up a shell company in Sweden to rake in the required bribes. He got a couple million out of it. That's the way business is done in wildly corrupt third world countries - or with the Clintons, where it's expected that any foreign firm that wants to do business will slip a million or so to the prime minister's wife.

That's what every 100% serious asshole says when he gets called out for crossing a line that shouldn't be crossed. I was just kidding, Can't you take a joke? And you can always tell they were serious because it's obvious there was never a joke. Being a raging asshole and waving it off as joking is a standard tactic of abusers everywhere.

What line did he cross? If the Russians hacked the e-mails then that's a done deed. Better that they release them all now rather then use them to blackmail Hillary for four years, leading to her acquiescing to Putin's invasion and conquest of Europe.

Just to update you, Hillary has already been hacked. In fact, her entire homebrew e-mail system was almost certainly hacked by multiple foreign intelligence agencies. Our enemies already know what's in the e-mails. The American public does not, but should, because we need to know what our enemies know.

For what, saying we can't possibly have a US President who flaunts established security protocols and gives the Russians and any other hostile power backdoor access to highly classified US intelligence information, or that we can't possibly have a President who demands bribes from foreign governments?
