Who the fuck takes Pepcid? That shit is straight up useless. I like people without GERD, though.

People who scarf down Big Macs by the truckload, apparently. At least it's not carcinogenic like Zantac.

    The recommended over-the-counter dose is.

I'm guessing Trump's are doctor prescribed, and those can go up to 400-600 milligrams.

Honestly, I've never had any luck with it. Omeprazole is like a miracle drug, comparatively.

Glad to see it didn't do anything to his malignancy. No stimulus for you! Except for after the win. Then bigglyest, bestest, superbest stimulus everest.

So, anyone who voted for him in 2016 still voting for him in a month? What else would he have to do - basically shooting someone on 5th Avenue already happened over the past week.

I was having awful acid reflux/GERD when I was overweight and Omeprazole was the only stuff that did any real good. Once I had the bariatric surgery, gave up booze, fried food and such, I was able to give up the Omeprazole, but my doctor put me on Zantac since ulcers after the surgery are very bad news. Then of course, the problems came up with the carinogens in ranitidine products so he switched me to Pepcid. By now I figure it's kind of a placebo, but if it ain't broke...:clyde:

The problem is that with proton pump inhibitors like Pepcid and Ummagummaperazle, people who take them for more than a year have a significantly higher general mortality rate. Zantac is probably safer since many cancers are slow growing or treatable.

I had a resident with GERD stop taking omeprazole because he heard it gives you cancer. His doctor said he was being absurd.

Yeah, I'd much prefer none at all and don't really think I need them, but unlike Trump, I work with my doctors.

Pepcid isn't a proton pump inhibitor, it's an H2 blocker (like Zantac).

And Pepcid works great for me.

Dangit. I was hoping on that for my Trump loving family who live in the midwest. On 2nd thought, no of course I was not hoping aborted fetuses of humans were used. In fact I'm not sure if I would want any hamsters to be sacrificed either. But maybe a pig, a pig could be sacrificed for that.

One of my cherished memories is of seeing the original cast of Evita on B'wy. Interesting seats (second row, but waaay the hell over on stage right - we could see the actors in the wings waiting to go on), courtesy of my late husband's students, who always bought him tickets because he directed the school play (Yeah, thanks, @Ten Lubak, for reminding me of the first of my losses; I tried to contact you privately, but you're such a chickenshit you're blocking PMs), and I ended up with a crick in my neck. But to see Patti Lupone, Mandy (nasty bastid, to anyone who's worked with him, but he does have a three-octave range) Patinkin, Bob Gunton, et al.... priceless!

It's easy to compare Der Drumpfenfuhrer to Hitler, but he's much closer to Mussolini, Juan Peron, et al., to quote the lyrics: "so far."

Stephen Miller's wife is apparently several months pregnant so he might have to quarantine from her. Kinda fitting that he'll be separated from his family.
