That was yesterday in Switzerland. Two Syrian fake refugees with ties to ISIS and newly arrived in Switzerland were arrested for carrying explosives and poisonous gases.

The day before yesterday Finland arrested two brothers who were known to have taken part in ISIS massacres but who were now pretending to be refugees.

This is the harsh reality which the PC people are trying to ignore and people are going to die because of their arrogance.

You claim it wouldn't have prevented the San Bernardino terrorist attack but the wife would have never been let in and that would have prevented half of the terrorism right there.

The one and only thing people have done is defend innocent people, who won't ever be committing crimes, from being treated like they're criminals.

You cannot eliminate the problem of extremism by a flicking switch. Your ( or should I say Trump's) idea isn't practical for the many reasons I have explained in detail already, not least because many will slip through the cracks and the vast majority of those stopped at the port of entry won't be terrorists. It also means punishing a majority for the actions of a minority, which can never be justified. The harsh reality is that there is no overnight solution. These people must be educated as to why extremism is wrong, and that takes time. Potentially generations. Measures like you are proposing just creates more division and pushes more normal Muslims into the hands of the extremists. You say you want to stop terror attacks, yet you want to increase the number of terrorists by pushing young Muslims towards the extremists with your hate and bigotry. That seems the very height of stupidity. How we not learned from the Iraq war that the more Muslims are marginalised, pushed away and feel under attack the more these extremists are able to recruit with their hate narrative? With all the race tensions your country suffer to this day you'd think Americans would be more familiar with the danger of promoting division.

Attacks are going to happen. Profiling at the border isn't going to stop them. Not when you have a whole industry out there devoted to false identities. No terrorist is going to rock up at the port and declare himself a Muslim so that he can be turned around. He's either going to enter illegally or use a false identity. The most effective tool in the short term in stopping attacks is our intelligence services. Their rate of foiling attacks is already far in excessive what your bigoted religious ban can ever achieve. We must continue to fund and support them. We must also talk to the Muslim communities and have them understand that there is a festering problem that they cannot turn a blind eye to if they wish to function in our society and enjoys its benefits. Most importantly, we must also continue to live by our values to show that we will not be controlled by fear and extremism. That we will not give up what makes us superior. Unfortunately, people like you have already given that up, succumbed to fear and fail to understand that your religious profiling will inevitably have as many negative consequences as it will positive. The only long term "benefit" (for want of a better word) to creating more division between us and Muslims is increasing the number of extremists. But go right ahead. Meanwhile in Rochester, NY a Yemeni immigrant has been arrested in an ISIS related terrorism plot. There simply is no reliably way to screen them. If you let any in this will keep happening and the more you let in the worse it will get.

The head of the refugee agency in Berlin has had to resign due to the agency being overwelmingly by the sheer number of people. Meanwhile crime has skyrocketed and recently a 4 year old girl was abducted, raped, and murdered. Video of the arrest of two would be muslim terrorists in Sydney a few days ago. Australia is currently debating sweeping new anti-terrorism powers for police and government due to there being so many Islamic terrorists in the country.

A few month's prior to the attack in San Bernardino there was a Muslim college student, Faisal Mohammed, who was shot after stabbing four students. Authorities downplayed any terrorist connection and said he attacked because of personal issues, even though he had an ISIS flag and filled his manifesto with references to Allah. After San Bernardino we found out the White House was putting a lot of pressure on the FBI and law enforcement not to link the attacks to Islamic extremism or ISIS, and it's pretty obvious successfully did that with the earlier stabbing attack.
