Trump won because college-educated Americans are out of touch

This has nothing to do with macho posturing. The kids see the news and hear the adult conversations their parents want them to. They hear their gay uncle acting worried and of course they are concerned and won't research opposing news sources. And you know what? Maybe the kids are being told that they will be protected but their families tell them not to trust anyone who says that.....like for example President Elect Trump telling us that it will be a country for all americans. So is that about right, am I in the ball park?

No that is not my point. Just because they don't feel safe that doesn't mean they are really in danger. If my five year old child feels afraid because some other kid told him there are monsters in his closet would you sell your home and move away, or just explain to your child that there are no monsters in his closet and he will be okay?

I would check the fucking closet.

That's both amusing and sad. People like the commentator are the ones who got all the liberals upset with absolute bullshit, and yet she shows not a bit of responsibility for terrifying a bunch of young idiots in her desperate attempt to get Hillary elected. Well, now the consequences are causing problems and she wants to blame Trump for it.

dude - there was some 18 year old kid saying they were scared because her parents had been in the country for 30 years illegally and now that Trump is elected they are terrified.
They dodged the immigration bullet for THIRTY FUCKING YEARS! and now she's worried that somebody might be forced to do their job under Trump. Granted Trump did say in a recent interview that he does plan on kicking out illegals along with "building the wall" but the illegals he's focusing on are career criminals who happen to be illegals - deport them or incarcerate them. Personally I say "incarcerate" because deporting them means they come right back. They are breaking laws on our soil incarcerate them here like we would a home-grown criminal - or terrorist.
BTW we as a nation are doing a great job on suppressing terrorism within our borders already, I will give Obama credit for that - it's "on his watch" so it's his baby. We have arrested well over a hundred known terrorists recently but you don't hear about the terrorist acts that don't happen. Hopefully Trump doesn't try to tweak this!
