I agree! Yes Trump has his "wall" failure which was inevitable, but when you're all alone in the voting booth you only get one pull of the handle so to speak.

There are more failures than that. Not only has the "wall" been very slow and border security barely improved, but he's also made only very little progress on immigration reform (deleting 'catch & release' has helped somewhat).

Manufacturing, which saw job growth, is contracting, that's a negative. He promised 3% gdp growth but we're at mediocre 2%. OTOH, jobs is the single most important factor in an economy and jobs are at best levels in a century, and wage growth the best in decades. So the consumer numbers are strong (spending, confidence, savings) and it's just the business sector that's been weak (reportedly because of global recession or flatness, and from uncertainty about the War with China).

To completely decouple from China (sever all ties) would take > decade and imo it's the single most important foreign policy threat currently on the table. China's directly responsible for killing tens of thousands of Americans plus they're the only actual "Nazis" on the planet (actually worse than nazi if it turns out true that they executes extra fallon gong for organ-donor tourism) - Trump's been a bit of a wuss on addressing those, although he's also the sole reason half the country has done a 180 about China's fake fluffy tail.

Health care's also barely budged, though it's promising that drug costs have flattened at least, rather than increasing in prices at double-digit rates as past few decades. On the bright side, Trump got the Dems to admit Obamacare was (1) the worst lie ever told to the public in the first place, and (2) a horrible failure. : ) Glass is half full !
