It seems to be one of those things that amplifies and highlights existing tendencies. For some it can be a loving exploratory thing where both partners actually want it, however where there isn't a balance in those desires it can be very predatory and damaging.

As he faces a lonely end to his presidency, Donald Trump learned Sunday evening that, in the wake of last week's riot at the U.S. Capitol, he has lost one of the relationships he values most: his partnership with the Professional Golfers' Association.
While the embattled president has been hunkered down to try and preserve his political career, the PGA of America, the proprietors of one of golf's four major championship tournaments, announced that it plans to move its 2022 PGA Championship away from Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
"The PGA of America Board of Directors voted tonight to exercise the right to terminate the agreement to play the 2022 PGA Championship at Trump Bedminster," said Jim Richerson, PGA of America president, in a statement.
Holding the tournament at Trump Bedminster, Richerson said, would be "detrimental" to the PGA of America's brand and put the organization's ability to function "at risk."

please find any comment I made condoning the Capitol attack. Spoiler alert - it will be a waste of your time. The Capitol rioters are dead end losers and should face the full extent of the law.
That said the PEACEFUL PROTESTORS I have no problem with assuming they had a permit.
I don't know what videos you have seen but the one I saw where one of the soon-to-be rioters said (paraphrasing) "if you aren't willing to go forward with the attack stay behind" pretty much defines the point where the "riot" began.

I haven't researched the nuts & bolts of every riot over the summer but I would bet that many of the the protest/riots follow a similar path.

Closely followed by the R&A (who govern golf across the world except America) announcing that the Open Championship (the worlds greatest major) will not be going to Trump Turnberry for the foreseeable future.

I just covered that in another thread a couple of hours ago, but I will repeat it for those who haven't came across it yet:
I do not agree that he directly incited the violence. It's not a "yes or no" question. If this was a true or false test I would write in comments explaining why I couldn't answer the question as it was worded. Here is my logic: I believe that he encouraged (hell the protest was his idea!) the crowd to march to the Capitol to voice their discontent and most likely delay or disrupt the electoral vote proceedings as a result - full stop. Childish, self centered and unprofessional? Yes indeed!

He did not incite any actual violence. He was nowhere near the leading edge of the crowd of protestors when specific crowd members made the announcement that some members of the crowd would be going forward to actually breach the Capitol and commit violent acts, and to remain behind if they didn't want to be part of that. There are video clips of this. At that point those going forward were now a mob of violent rioters and unless Trump was aware of their nefarious & felonious intentions, then Trump did not incite the violence at the Capitol. However if the investigation provides evidence that Trump knew full & well that the rioting mob was intent on violence then I will accept that he incited the violence. But the court of public opinion doesn't really count. If an actual legally recognized court finds him guilty of said charges then I will agree that he is guilty.

Hence my statement that you live in fear and hatred.

Apparently he thinks if Trump had been quiet and accepted the election results like a good president it would have happened anyway.

Yes, a spontaneous rally would have popped up for no reason with people plotting to take over the government would just randomly marching on the halls of Congress with some of the capital police just letting it happen.

I have this mental image. On a busy street corner, there are two restaurants. One is a filthy rat-trap with broken coolers, grease caked on every surface, dead animals in the walls, and multiple health department citations for poisoning its customers. The other is a Ruby Tuesday's.
