Has anyone watched this yet? I watched the first three episodes on Netflix last night as I was laughing my ass off. It's from one of the animators of Bojack Horseman and it's been a long time since I've had a series make me laugh this hard. The visual gags are great, especially the one in the first shot of the opening credits The ladies Ali Wong and Tiffany Haddish kill it as quiet, reserved Bertie and loud Tuca and Steven Yuen plays Bertie's square boyfriend (and probably appreciates that his character won't be in the center of shipping debates unlike the last cartoon project he took on ) It's a great slice of life from women's perspective while being fun as fuck. Will finish the rest tonight lol.
And it’s canceled. https://www.forbes.com/sites/danidi...with-the-abrupt-cancellation-of-tuca--bertie/
Finally, some good fucking news in 2021 Fuck Netflix. The show is hilarious and didn't deserve punishment because of another production's decision to strike (which I also support, because FUCK NETFLIX)
I tried it and the jokes were funny, but the animation is just driving me away. It is the randomality of it all. It is the same reason I did not groove with adventure time. Thanks for the recommendation though. Maybe it will grow on me. Sometimes my brain just needs time to process a track for a thing and since the humor is there I might come along eventually. Oh, and this is in no way saying that it is of low quality, just a matter of personal taste.
