Is now explained. Saturday night our condo building, an 18-story highrise, was hit by lightning. There was a fire in the elevator shaft and my wife and I had to evacuate. Our condo suffered no damage, but the elevators, air conditioning, and hot water are all out of service. We've been staying in a hotel since Saturday night and will be in one again tonite. We're told that things may be fixed by tomorrow (Tuesday) and if so we'll be home then.

So don't look for me to be here very much until then.

Yeah, it was exciting. Elevators are now fixed, but not a/c or hot water. I'm told the a/c might be back on tomorrow night. We'll see.

Still in a hotel for now.
