Don't forget there was a poor, innocent woman there...

Unless, of course, her name was Palin...

Hmmm... are they hoping for a strong reaction from Damascus so they can start screaming WAR! WAR! WAR PRESIDENT!!!!

Or are they looking for those elusive WMD :rotfl:

    Won't work. Reeks of desperation.

Amazing, Cass. You know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the WMDs aren't in Syria.

The CIA's going to have to be over to your house for a chat real soon.

Eh, this is a minor incident. If Georgia wasn't enough to tip the scale, why would this be?

It won't necessarily. But it'll give Dubya another chance to say "See, see? The Surge Is Working!!"

And McCain will make statements over the next few days about his "complete support for the President in this time of crisis in order to make our country stronger" in the hope it'll give him an uptick in the polls.

Doubt it'll sustain until 11/4. Bush should have waited until *next* weekend so it was still fresh in the Undecideds' minds...

C'mon g. Just say it. "The surge is working. The surge is working." Pretty soon you can work up to, "Obama was wrong. Obama was wrong."

And you call conservatives stubborn!

The whole definition has to be flipped on its head. Now that most everything is going the 60's radicals way, they're the conservatives any more.

You do know that the word Rovian doesn't actually mean "with Rove pulling the strings," don't you guys?

While it's a stretch to call this Rovian, all that would mean is that it's a dirty trick trying to instigate a response, not that Rove had anything to do with it. Please take your inane and transparent strawman back to the little kids' table where you belong.

What I've really got to wonder is not whether this is some sort of dirty trick attempt, but rather why is this okay but going over the Pakistan border to catch bin Laden would be the biggest foreign policy blunder ever? Can't the winger loonies running our government make up their minds on these things?

Better bring home the troops from Japan/Germany then and inform the US government that WW2 has been over for 70 years now.

If Obama were President right now, Garamet, Pardot and the rest of the Obama dick-suckers would be applauding the strike.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Unless my candidate is in office.

I'll take hypocrites for $100, Alex.

Like the US government, their cocksuckers (you) don't even know what 'success' is when it comes to Iraq.
