So this white kid is the lead drum major for an all black band at a High School in Montgomery Alabama named after the president of the Confederate States. It gets better. He's being accused of cultural appropriation despite his black peers saying he fucking deserves it. Either way, it's mesmerizing.

Is the all black band all black because of some membership requirement? If it is meant to be a thing for black people by black people then ......Well even then they would have seem to have made an exception for a reason.

If his peers are not calling foul and it is a school thing where he is participating with his peers and made it to that position based on their team expectations then this would just be an expression of inclusion.

The only thing I wonder about is was there some sort of administration influence in any of this. If his band is not crying foul then let them be. It is great to see kids dancing together and that is not cultural appropriation. They are not making money for it, and if for some reason the white kid gets ahead in some way for it then it seems to be whoever overlooked all the other talent that is to blame.

    White kid can dance.

Black kids want him to dance with them.

Sometimes having fun needs no justification.
