    Didn't say they didn't.

    In your opinion.

    Wrong.

    Totally wrong on all counts.

The ELECTED county supervisor of elections is responsible for polling locations, numbers of polling locations and number of voting machines used.

The ELECTED supervisors whose counties had trouble were all Democrat Party just like they were Democrat Party in 2000.

Unfortunately, some posters here still are. We've had this ongoing thread dedicated to such stupidity: http://www.wordforge.net/showthread.php?t=69757

I am not. Certainly nothing is truly free, but the documentation required for photo ID should be free if we are going to make it a requirement for exercising our most fundamental right. Otherwise it is very much a poll tax. Most of us are against voter ID because the process can be quite costly and time-consuming, but we have maintained that if the process were truly free (that is, no cost for the documentation) we would be OK with the voter ID requirements. In one of our previous voter ID threads, I talked about how it cost me around $100 (in terms of documentation and fees) and four hours to obtain a driver's license. Not everyone can afford to take four hours off from work and spend $100. And not everyone has their documentation in order and immediately/freely available.

Here's my question and to why the birther fabrication is so retarded... Even if Obama's Mom was traveling to Kenya and he just so happen to have been born there, does that disqualify him from office? No it doesn't. He's still an AMerican born abroad.

And the silliest part: McCain was also born abroad.

McCain was actually born abroad. Too say also, implies that you think Obama was born somewhere outside the U.S.
