Before the week is out, TK will be launching an ezine that will attempt to focus on our circle of boards and it's members. I am not trying to poach members here for the TK forums, but I want to exploit the talent I see. :garamet:

We need reviews of movies, books, music, games, cities and tourist attractions (for vacations),consumer products and anything else you can dream up! As well as editorials, fiction (smut is fine), and art.
These are the guidelines posted on TK:

We would also like to spotlight posters from our circle of boards. We prefer a Q and A interview style, but narative may also be accepted if it's entertaining. There should be 10-20 questions that focus mostly on online life (no more than one Q about sexual deviencies please), although a bit about outside interests is fine too.

If you decide to interview another person, we need a copy of the interview from both people and it better match. (*cough*) Keep in mind that interviews may be edited for spelling and punctuation and we reserve the right to use only part of the questions. The most important part is to keep it entertaining. You may add commentary about the person being interviewed, but no RL info and while parody and sarcasm are part of TK, dont get nasty just for the sake of being nasty.

Questions or ideas? You can ask here or PM me...

I'd recommend you recruit Number_6. As an active member of both boards who's quite literate and has a wide range of artistic tastes, he'd be just what you're looking for.

Oh I asked nicely a while back. He's said yes of course.

Dont be catty Borgs, I'm getting inquiries from all kinds of people. It seems to me that people write to be read by others, whether message board post or novel. And someone serious about creative writing that they have spent some time getting "just right" will want it to be read by as many others as possible.

I dont want anyone here thinking they can't contribute because they aren't (and have no desire to be) a TK poster.

Didn't you throw around this idea already at some point? Good to see it become reality! A reason to have a look over there then and when :)

Btw, what about a collabortive serialized story? I could be 'persuaded' (cold hard cash :D ) to dream up a first chapter. And every week or so, somebody else adds another on.

C.P.-The ezine has been in the works for close to a year. I'm glad we waited because Hambil did such a great job on the custom coding that it's easy for us to change articles/stories individually and keep something new in there all the time without an actual issue deadline. While it's far from perfect, I think we can be proud of it. The best part was being able to "publish" in time for TK's 4th birthday tomorrow.
And after less than 24 hours, we've already got some new ideas to try. It's been interesting as well as a learning experience.
