Not exactly. The cost of running the farm is through the roof. But the high prices SHOULD offset most of it....for those with a decent amount of land anyways.
I've had issues but it's nothing new for me. I quit once under Reagan, was fired once under Bush I...I was laid off not once but twice under Clinton (clearly his fault!) and was non-tendered under Bush II I've always lived within sight of economic ruin. Often in the wrong place at the wrong time, sometimes making poor choices, whatchagonnado? The thing that too many people don't see to understand is that in any economy, free or otherwise, there are always gonna be "poor" people. The freer the economy, the freer the poor man is to do something extraordinary to leverage himself out of his weak economic position, and that's why it's good to have a freer economy and I prefer it BUT no matter what people do or what gets done for them, there's always going to be a precentage of the population who don't have much economically. Sucks to be one of them but that doesn't mean I'm gonna start blaming politicians.
