Sure, they all have murder, genocide, sexual assault and the like in their histories, but how many of them have been convicted in a court of law of buying stolen property from a terrorist organization? I think Tuckerfan's point was that that's unusual, even by evangelical church standards, and so we shouldn't necessarily assume all churches are doing so. If we ought to assume that, that would undermine his response to my "why does anyone care?" question. but honestly that doesn't really matter because, well, it's still a stupid Jesus ad, and I can't bring myself to care about it even a smidge.
