I had it happen too when I frigged up an image link yesterday.

Why are we being insulting in error messages again?

Well if someone messes up a URL so badly (as demonstrated by Face), why shouldn't they be insulted?

Does Nick get a warning for this?

Whoever made that should get a warning. Way to promote our site in a positive way.

I was very offended by the rude language in the error message and as a result I even considered unsubscribing the site. But cooler heads prevailed.

Actually, the message was intended for hostgator, after they replaced the Apache default with their own banner page. Never figured on anyone on the board getting a 404. Sorry.

Idk, if someone can't take a humorous 404, I don't imagine how they'll ever fit in here...

Just to explain...

It's kind of hypocritical to have no trolling outside the Red and Gray Rooms rules and then insult (troll or flame) posters for a mistake that could have happened in any forum.
