Let me say that I hate Billy ray Cyrus. I've ALWAYS hated Billy Ray Cyrus. I hate him now, I hated him even more during the Acky Breaky Heart mania back in the 90s. He is a tool.

But since this whole Hannah Montana thing happened (which every female member of my family under 15 watches 24 hours a day) I thought I had judged him unfairly. I mean he seemed to morph into the all American good dad. Right?

Wrong!

Once a tool, always a tool.

I started having second thoughts about my second thoughts when it became clear that good old dad was letting his 15 year old daughter run all around the country without him so long as she was bring him the cash home.

Then he gave his daughter the green light to jet off to anywhere cause CMT stuck a camera in his face to give him his own reality show. "I'm famous again! Yee Haw!" The best part was seeing him share his great parenting advice on his reality show while Miley was taking off her shirt on youtube. Great job dad!

And then TMZ reported this today...

It seems EVERYONE on the set of Hannah Montana HATES Miley Cryus and her dad. It looks like Billy Ray wants to pull his daughter off the show and is refusing to do more than another 12 episodes. Why? He wants to focus on Miley's big time music career. Great thinking pops! Disney on the other hand is saying they better drag their asses in there for another 22 episodes or else.

So moron Billy Ray is sinking his kid's acting career so he can relive his good 'ol days.

Well... I wonder what will happen first, a knocked up 17 year old or an attention starved 18 year old who releases a sex tape to make it back on tv. "Please love me daddy, I can get back on tv and make us famous again, I swear."

Stay on the Hanna Montana show! She can work on her singing carreer when the TV show eventually ends. If she has any singing talent, it will only get better as she matures - but nobody wants to see a 20 year old Hanna Montana in a few years.

Acting all sweet and innocent for the dumb masses while she's on drugs by 16, has her first abortion by 17, puts out a CD that makes millions, marries some asshole, starts popping out children, goes into rehab, has a messy divorce by 22, fucks off her first big 'comeback' at 23, stars in scandal reporting all thru her 20s until she drowns in her own heroine soaked vomit by 29.

He's just going to drag more money out of Disney, this is all about money. I bet she does another 22 episodes for twice the price, and why not, God knows Disney is making a fortune off her, probably in the billion or more range.

I was roaming Fry's Electronics the other day and they had a Miley/Hannah concert video playing so I got a chance to her how well she sings.

Based on that experience, I think Miley might be better off if her dad gets her singing career going now before all her fans grow up and get some taste.

I actually tried to watch that show. I honestly gave it a try when no one else was home.

I lasted 12 minutes then I tuned over to C-SPAN 2, which was more entertaining.

It wasn't the greatest thing I've ever seen, but it wasn't any worse than an old episode of Full House or Family Matters or Saved by the Bell.

Oh good, for a moment I thought that she was leaving because everyone on the set of Hannah Montana hated her and her dad.

If this rumor is true, it seems he wants to focus on Miley's big time music career and not on his own.

No everyone hates them because their bonehead move is going to financially sink the rest of the cast.

No, he wants to use Miley's career to bump his own. Notice how noone gave a damn about BillyRay until Miley hit it big, after that he worked himself into his own reality show and then his dancing with the stars gig. Miley is his very own star puppet. If he can't get on stage well... atleast he can pimp and control his daughter and pretend he's actually the star.

Wrong. Stuff like this actually sinks kid shows. Kids want to believe Miley is in real life just like she is on screen. My cousin's kid has just stopped watching the show because of this stuff. 11 to 12 year olds don't care about backstage drama.

I disagree. This will have zero negative impact on the Hannah Montana machine. If anything it's a bit of free publicity that doesn't diminish Miley Cyrus in any way.

While I wouldn't consider myself the spokesman for the Hannah Montana fan base there is probably some truth here.
