I just hate that it had to be me.

I was terminated for surfing Wordforge from work today.

Dunno. Thought my machine was clean, but apparently not.

They had material from places like the gallery, where I rarely bother going.

This was found when they did a recovery on my HD after a crash two weeks ago... I've changed my password, since I suspect they came in via the damned "Remember my password" thing.

Good luck trying to appeal it.

Lesson: Do not surf Wordforge if you have an IT director who is apparently a nosy, vindictive bitch. More importantly, do not demonstrate said director's incompetence on a regular basis.

    :wtf:

    Damn. Sorry, Bear. :(

I surf from work often and my defense if I'm ever called on it is that I'm doing "research". ;)

It's actually not that much of a stretch. I've pitched story ideas that I heard about here...

    :ualbert:

I've already expressed my thoughts and feelings about this privately, bubba. But, I say again, if there's anything at all that I can do, you holler.

Shit, I didn't think it was possible.

I mean, you hear about it, but you always think it only happens to other people on other boards.
