We can't ban Packard, we'll have noone to blame.

Bulldog's list'll work... with just one or two select additions.

Oh, I'm sure that a lot of posters will be able to choose someone else to blame for everything. :)

Bannings are not a celebration. :nono:

Let's pretend for a little while there is no drama and figure out something fun. :slice:

We're LONG overdue for a contest.

I like the "public execution" idea. :tasvir:

It would be deliciously ironic if we're going to be banning (publicly executing) traitors to the revolution on the anniversary of the revolution.

I think that would be unfortunate. A general amnesty might be better.

Except for our "leaker" of course.

    And Packard.

How many times have we tried this? How many times have some people still managed to fuck it up?

Have we ever? There's been "forgiveness" for individual posters, and IIRC when you took over from Borgs there was a general reset of warnings or some such. Did we do a blanket amnesty in the past?

Either way, I don't like the idea of rampant banning. Probably make the :shitstorm: that just settled down look like nothing.

I do agree that there are few 'elements' on the board with whom the shitstirring far outweights the contributions. Markb, anyone? That guy used to be cool before he disappeared and came back as gul's twin in spirit.

As for celebrations... another writing contest would be fun. The system is in place and works, we only need prizes

A custom banner, maybe temporarily changing a few smilies into celebration smilies.

I think it was Patrick Henry who said "The tree of liberty must, from time to time, be replenished with the blood of some jive-ass backstabbin' mothafuckas."

No, that was Patravius Henry, 50 Cent's sound guy, not Patrick Henry, Revolutionary War hero.
