I'm just glad I can't vote in American elections. Your choices are awful. You really need a viable third (and perhaps even a fourth) political party.

IMHO, on the Sliding Scale of Evil (tm) I would put the Republicans slightly ahead of the Democrats at the moment. But the slide often changes.

It's worse than that, we really haven't a choice at all. Our "two parties" simply take turns running the show.

You really like don't you? Your indignation is usually misplaced. The point Jenee and a few others have been suggesting is that many who claim to dislike both animals reserve for the donkeys, giving the elephants a pass. If you claim to dislike both, you should at least, once in a while, criticize the other one.
