That's one of those articles you read that make you realize that America is a dead rotting corpse and in a few years we are probably going to be killing each other.
It's that racist white blood. Everyone knows that when a white devil sees black skin it drives them into an uncontrollable racist berserker rage.
Oakland city library recently put new child book guidelines out where they want police portrayed in a negative light. As racist people who want to murder blacks, as theives, and people who cannot be trusted. That white people are at best suspect and mostly bad people. These propagandists are such garbage people and, yes, they truly are harming both the nation and the children they are trying to indoctrinate. We have lost our way and are allowing the actual racists to run things.
I looked over a few other "articles" at that garbage website and it was mostly emotional drivel void of facts, contrasting viewpoints, or even sound logic. I am not surprised it is mostly whining, hand wringing, and idiotic ranting.

I actually looked into this the other day, and the reasoning is more or less sound. After Columbine, thousands of police officers were placed in American schools. Since then they haven't stopped a single mass shooting, but what they have done is take disciplinary issues that used to be handled by teachers and principals and turned them into law enforcement matters. Things that might have earned most of us detention or a suspension back in the day are now resulting in arrests and criminal charges, and it's disproportionately nonwhite kids on the receiving end of that escalation. https://tcf.org/content/commentary/school-policing-racially-discriminatory/ In light of that, it's not unreasonable to suspect that allowing even more guns into schools will invariably result in them being turned on minority students, especially if they're in the hands of inconsistently trained civilians. Shit, how many teachers can't even be trusted to control their genitals properly around their students? At least an improperly handled dick won't kill you. Finally, can any of you imagine a scenario where Dayton is walking around his school armed and it ends well?
Literally a terrifying thought but we are fortunately starting to see it be much harder for domestic abusers to get guns so @Dayton3 might be out of luck.
So teachers can't be trusted with guns only cops, but fuck the police and teachers are competent enough to handle situations police are handling now?
Teachers can't even teach Federal Farmer basic reading skills or critical thinking, and we want them to have guns?
I have seen what happens with teachers during a game of paintball and if you are going to up the stakes to life and death the only thing safe on campus from teachers with guns would be the school shooter. I am serious, they lose their shit in a game where the worse you will get is a bruise. Here is how it would go. Teacher hears shots. Teacher grabs gun and shoots floor or foot while bobbling it out of the holster. Teacher accidentally shoots a kid while waving the gun to direct them to the back of ass. Teacher is unlucky enough to hear the gunman coming. Teacher puts on safety. Gunman bursts into room. Teacher tries to fire gun with safety on. Gunman watches and laughs. Teacher struggles with why gun does not shoot. Gunman comes over and turns off safety for teacher. Teacher thanks gunman and accidentally shoots two more students while testing if gun works. Teacher aims gun at gunman. Gun jams. Teacher fools with gun trying to get it to work. Teacher finally gets it to shoot killing another student. Gunman is ROTFL. Teacher aims at gunman. Teacher is now out of ammo. Gunman finishes laughing and then kills whoever is still alive. Repeat in next classroom.
