If the British aircrews wanted to kill Germans they'd have been bombing small German towns where there weren't massive organized bomb shelters. They would have come in at low levels unexpectedly like they did at Ploesti and just unleash hell on random towns. They went in to inflict a world of hurt and lay waste, hoping that people would come up out of the bomb shelters and see utter devastation, leading to a complete collapse of war fighting ability and morale. If they wanted to kill Germans they wouldn't have stopped once they achieved dominance. They'd have been building death camps as their lines rolled forward instead of feeding Germans.

In contrast, when the Nazis took over your town they didn't bring food. They just looked for the most cost effective way to exterminate the population.

Your claim that they didn't want to kill Germans is a lie. They did. It was one of the primary reasons for terror bombing. It wasn't the only reason, which is why they didn't conduct low-level bombing raids on small towns.
