What if the potato was as small as a jellybean? It would be such a bitch to peel, and it would take dozens to fill you up. Just putting that out there to ponder.

Easy to cook...in theory. But the peels could be the achilees heel on this.

That's why someone would invent a machine to peel 'em so you'd just buy peeled mini potatoes.

^For such an inconvient good, that machine wouldn't earn the inventor much more than small potatoes.

You wouldn't peel 'em. Just fry 'em whole, stir fry or deep fry depending on what you want.

Personally, I like the skin. Whenever I eat a baked potato, I eat the skin. Many people just love the skin. What many people don't know though is that it's the leaves of the potato plant that are poisonous.

My mom always eats the potato skin.

And I think I've had little potatoes before, skin and all. Good stuff.

Y'all seriously don't think a potato peeler is a good idea?

The peel is where most of the vitamins are.
And the minerals too, if you don't wash it.

The Easter basket they would be in would be as big as a hot-air balloon basket.

    1. They'd mash easier

    2. They would still be best when slow roasted with a pot-roast.

    ....conquered the world?

Oh, you so read my mind!

It would be SUCH a better world.
    For everyone.
    In every way.

I imagine it sometimes, and then look at the news, and cry.

    .....*actually reads thread*...oh...yeah...little potatoes...yeah...that'd be a trip....:calli:

It would make my "stuffed potatoes" (twice-baked) REALLY frekin' hard to make!

Potatos are better with the peel intact.

Preferably burnt to shit and covered with butter, cheese, bacon bits, and whatever else I can find.
