What Is The Board's Official Policy on Staff Reading Members' PMs?

I doubt they would read private messages unless something came up legally that could affect the board.

We did a go-round on this topic a while ago ( ) and IIRC, the verdict was that while it's probably possible for someone with Administrator access to do it, it would require extraordinary circumstances for Elwood to go to the trouble.

So no, we don't read your PMs unless you send them specifically to us.

In order to read the contents of PMs, you have to have access and you have to know how to do so.

I'm the only one that both knows how to and has access; Elwood and Kyle have access, but not know-how (though I'm sure Kyle could figure it out easily), and Nick knows how but has no access. AFAIK, no one else has either (Tamar might have access; I'm not sure).

None of us will read any except in truly extraordinary circumstances - pretty much: for a specific legal action, or to prevent it.

Heck, we don't even read the ones you actually send us!
