What Smirnov's Lie really means....

Trying to follow the rules here, so just bear with me. If this is part of another thread please move it. Otherwise I just want to talk about the indictment and what it means in this thread.

First off, has anyone read the Smirnov indictment in total?

Does it involve flavored vodka at all?

I have. It seems to say, in my not a fucking lawyer opinion, that Smirnov had somehow become an FBI informant. He was told that all of his information that he would sign off on had to be True, and I assume there was a penalty for perjury involved in his statement. The counts are making a false statement to the FBI,which would be like perjury, and creating a false document in regards to that statement.


It looks like Smirnov made a claim that hunter Biden was hired by Burisma for access to his father who would help them go public on the stock market. For that there would be payments of 5 million to multiple people, mainly in the Biden family including Joe himself. There has yet to be any evidence of a payment uncovered, and I am not familiar with what documents Smyrnov may have provided to the FBI regarding one.

I appears that when he made the claim the offer and transfer of the 5 million were during the early years of the Trump Admin when Biden would not have been able to do anything as Trump was in control, and where Joe Biden was not even considered for the next nomination as it would have been about 2 years away from the dem primaries for 2020. Nobody has seen evidence of the payments yet, and if there was a payment it would not have been in hopes of getting a sitting president to do so as Joe was far from even being nominated at the time.

So what is the question?

The question ia...why isn't Comer under investigation for Election Interference, because that's what the impeachment inquiry is, especially with the Smirnov indictment, which Judiciary claims is the "bombshell"??

1. I do not know if what he is doing could actually be considered criminal given how US law is written. Also, I think in order to make what he is doing illegal would put a huge damper on free speech and criticism of our government. I think it is more the job of the news and voters to show what is wrong and to understand and vote him out of office. That is what a democracy should do, but as I have come to realize democracy does not work with humans due to their stupidity and love for cult lies.

2. we do have the other side that has obviously held off on criminal trials on trump for the 2024 election cycle. We are at least a year behind and that is by design to put the trump criminal trials during the election, and to trap the republicans into having trump as their nominee. I wish neither side played these games, and both sides would chose someone who is not mired in corruption and elderly troubles, but that is not how america does things.

3. You cannot really dig one side out without harming the other side, and we are limited to one side or the other doing something, so this is what happens.

Sorry, you're completely wrong about that and are buying into "the big lie". Trump's been the one delaying since the beginning (the trial he's currently in has been delayed for YEARS by him for example), and remember, the only reason he's running is to stay out of jail...which is why he "declared" himself a candidate early.

I will agree the federal records charges for him witholding the federal records is where it should be based on what needed to be properly done for Trump to have had his chance to return the documents and avoid charges. I am also not talking about the Carrol Defamation business as that seems to be where it is supposed to be.

However, the Georgia Racketeering case, and the federal charges for Jan 6th that are presently being done in the DC court were both delayed to occur this year. Those were not delayed by Trump tactics. The federal charges were put off by Garland not appointing a special prosecutor until November of 2022. He should have, and could have, appointed the investigator at least in 2021 and allowed the DOJ to start proceedings a year earlier. This was denied because the dems clearly wanted to use the pointless congressional investigation into Trump as their midterm cudgel and then have the actual charges come now. Had they done it the year earlier the dems would have had the trial end last year and the repugs could have chosen someone else in their primary. This really left the repugs with no choice but to allow trump to run and get the nomination while the dems seem to be hoping the conviction would come in the window between the convention and election causing chaos. Instead it looks like they delayed a little bit long and Trump will have delayed just enough to put everything but the present trial before the election.

Fanni Willis really should have brought her charges 2 years ago. I do not see anything she has gained in the past two years aside from putting this in an election year. The only excuse I could give her is that as a state DA she did have a huge RICO case to create and indict on. That should not be three years in the making, and she had a lot of this evidence in February of 2021. Yes, she was waiting for the federal indictments to occur at the same time. I do not know if that was to put it into the election year, or just to wait for the dominoes to start falling because it would make it easier for a conviction because she was only a state prosecutor.

Trump was clearly not the reason this happened as there are other litigants in the RICO case who have also been delayed.

The Biden admin appointed Merrick Garland who from the beginning clearly said he did not want to prosecute Trump and had to be dragged into appointing a special councel. Again, that appointment should have been done in 2021 not in november 2022 planning for the next round of elections in 2024.
