The threads in the RR right now are absolutely ridiculous. The mods need to clean the place up. Attacks on board members, moderator actions, "parody" threads, board shitstorms and all other crap need to be moved, closed or simply obliterated. This forum is rapidly going downhill.

Yeah, the LOST vs. Heroes stuff was pretty darn good for Media Central, but Tex vs. Eliteforge is one of the heavyweights.
You're right. The Red Room has been overrun with crap for quite a while. As I said in another thread, it's what happens when nobody is dedicated to posting current events, newsworthy items, and other "sensitive issues, philosophy, politics, religion" on a regular basis.
Yes, there did. At one time there was this big idea to have certain volunteers be responsible for keeping up with current events and creating discussion threads. I forget exactly who it was that was supposed to do this. It was around the time when WF had the poorly-designed portal. Back when Borgs was still involved, I think. But like the Arena and the debating forum, it was an idea that was abandoned when nobody demonstrated that they could be counted on to do it consistently. So now we have squabbling teenagers dragging their junior high drama in here, and parody thread after parody thread of Diacanu steadily upping his post count to the inevitable 100,000.
Who was it that once suggested a forum dedicated to the of Wordforge? That doesn't seem like such a bad idea now. We can call it the Crap Room and dump half the threads currently in the RR into it.
Perhaps part of the problem is that posters all have different ideas of what WF should be about. Part thinks it should be about upfront discussion on various topics, whereas others think it has room for a social aspect as well. Each opinion is tolerated until they clash, when you get situations like these.
