I've got a Playstation 2, Super NES, and an original Gameboy. My son still likes to play on the Super NES, as do my sister and her fiance when they come over. My son and I both still play on the Playstation 2 occasionally.
Not to mention work comps- a lot of people here post from work. I happen to own no computer whatsoever.
Lots of people have PCs and don't play games on it. Which is exactly why you should include it in the poll. See you already made my above point for me.
I did consider including it in the poll, but basically, the premise of the poll was to see who had what gaming system so maybe we could play each other. The problem with the PC, however, is that specs on each vary so wildly. Someone could play, say, Neverwinter Nights 2 on one PC, but that does not mean everyone could play it on theirs. If I put PC on the poll, people would end up having to list their personal specs, something that I really didn't want or care to see.
So you won't know what games people have on their pc...but you won't know what games people have on their ps3 or 360 either.
I mainly game on my PC, but I also have a 360 and a Wii. I used to have a PS3 but sold it to buy the Wii and some other games. There just weren't enough exclusives, and the Wii offered a different enough experience that it was worth replacing the PS3. Plus, it seems like almost every movie I've wanted to get on HD is from Universal. I'll be picking up HD-DVD add-on for the 360 at some point. I'll consider getting another PS3 when more is out for it, both Blu-Ray and PS3 exclusives worth checking out. I don't use the Wii that much for single-player gaming, but it's been a great party system. Even the non-gamer types in my family or friends seem to really get into it.
We have a PS2, and both boys have a GBA. I will inherit my youngest son's GBA after Christmas, as he is getting a Nintendo DS from Santa.
